For example, the Emirates Flight EK 956 which was scheduled to land at 5 PM experienced a delay of 9 hours. The Middle East Airlines flight to Paris ME 209 landed 6 hours late, and Alitalia AZ827 returned to Rome as a ferry flight with no passengers onboard.<br \/>  <br \/>  The aviation page <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/LebanesePlaneSpotters\/\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\">Lebanese Plane Spotters<\/a> also revealed that at some point, boarding passes were issued manually in an attempt to remedy the situation. <br \/>  <br \/>  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.beirut.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/56250.png\"><br \/>  <small><i>Image via LebanesePlaneSpotters<\/I><\/SMALL><br \/>  <br \/>  According to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nna-leb.gov.lb\/\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\">National News Agency<\/a>, the technical problem was resolved at around 4:30 AM on September 7th. <br \/>  <br \/>  Many passengers took to Twitter in an attempt to contact support agents for their missed and delayed flights.<br \/>  <br \/>  <blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-lang=\"en\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\"><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/lufthansa?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@lufthansa<\/a> I missed your flight because the <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Beirut?src=hash&#038;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#Beirut<\/a> airport had humongous crowds and a giant technical glitch. Most, if not all, Lufthansa passengers missed their early Friday morning flight. What is our recourse?
