Moreover, they claim that drug cartels have been storing and distributing medication unfairly all over Lebanon.<br \/>  <br \/>  As pharmacies slowly run out of the essentials (including Panadol), concerns are growing regarding the availability of COVID-19, blood pressure, and cancer treatment medications. If subsidies are removed from generic and previously listed products, an extreme spike in prices is expected which would cause chaos for struggling households. <br \/>  <br \/>  Deputy Salim Khoury says, \u201cThe failure to provide medicine is a threat to the health of Lebanese, and this is a crime to be held accountable for.\u201d <br \/>  <br \/>  This claim comes only one day after we reported that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.beirut.com\/l\/61308\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\">vital psychiatric medication has gone out of stock in pharmacies all over<\/a>.
