With the economic and fuel crises continuously worsening in Lebanon, things are becoming more dire for everyone. Increasingly long queues at gas stations and nozzles being routinely lifted to mark closures of stations have resulted in desperation and frustration. <\/p>\n

It seems one Lebanese man is cutting corners: \u201cSave your money and your time,\u201d this motorcycle taxi is pitching rides to people for 3,000L.L. as the average cab ride costs 5,000 LL or more. <\/p>\n

Not too long ago, Lebanon saw the introduction of the tuktuk taxis<\/a> to the market. As an energy saving vehicle, the Tuk-Tuk (and now possibly the moto taxi) is also an emblem of the trying economic conditions people are witnessing.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
