Several days have passed since the massacre that occurred in Akkar, which resulted in the death of 37 individuals who were desperately trying to get their hands on some fuel amid brutal shortages. However, the government has yet to issue an official list of the names of the victims. It appears as though these are not citizens that they care about, not even in a performative manner.<\/p>\n
We shouldn’t be surprised, as the official list for the August 4 blast, even over a year later, only lists 190 victims when the number is closer to 218. Since we’re getting used to doing the government’s job for them, we’re attempting to compile a comprehensive list of victims following the Akkar massacre.<\/p>\n
