In a joint letter<\/a> sent by 145 Lebanese and international rights groups, survivors, and families of the victims, they highlighted the ongoing issues with the deadlocked investigations stating that, “the government of Lebanon initiated an investigation into the Beirut blast, but the ensuing domestic investigation has been repeatedly obstructed and has failed in meeting the benchmarks”.
