Lebanon’s beloved Sursock Museum is set to re-open its doors to visitors at 7:30 PM this Friday, May 26. The historic site<\/a> was significantly damaged by the August 4 explosion and was subsequently forced to close for the past three years. After re-opening, the site will return as a premiere cultural hub in Beirut, with new and returning exhibitions unfurling at the museum every week.

The Nicolas Ibrahim Sursock Museum<\/a> is a modern and contemporary art museum that first opened in 1961. It considers its mission to be the collection, preservation, and exhibition of local and international art. The historic museum also strives “to provide a platform for encounter and experimentation with art and ideas, and to inform and challenge different audiences and communities in new and unexpected ways.<\/p>
