Bareesh<\/b><\/p> <p>Located in Tyre, Bareesh is a word of Syriac origin that translates to \u201cthe president\u2019s house\u201d. Lala <\/b><\/p> <p>A village in West Bekaa! Bziza<\/b><\/p> <p>This one is located in Koura and its name is quite unusual. One of the stories surrounding the name is that the name comes from a compound Syriac word \u201cbet azziza\u201d, azzizz, or Aziz, which is the name of a Semitic god. Kherbet Rouha<\/b><\/p> <p>Another village with a quirky name is Kherbet Rouha in Rachaya. Btekhnay<\/b><\/p> <p>The last village on the list is located in Metn\u2019s Baabda district, derived from the Syriac word \u201cBeit Kheni\u201d, which means <i>beit khaseb<\/i> or, fertile house in Arabic, which is contracted to &#8220;Beit Khoni,&#8221; meaning house of arches.
