The singer\u2019s death raised <a href=\"https:\/\/www.beirut.com\/l\/64070\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\">safety concerns regarding the country\u2019s roads,<\/a> with many blaming the state for the singer\u2019s death.<br \/>  <br \/>  Today, almost a month after El Rassi\u2019s death, Lebanese singer Majida al Roumi has pledged to renovate the Masnaa road in an attempt to avoid further tragedies.<br \/>  <br \/>    <blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\"><p lang=\"ar\" dir=\"rtl\"><br><a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/nlVI1xkHGn\">pic.twitter.com\/nlVI1xkHGn<\/a><\/p>\u2014  (@thevoicesyria1) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/thevoicesyria1\/status\/1572151456727273474?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">September 20, 2022<\/a><\/blockquote> <script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>  <br \/>  <br \/>  After the singer\u2019s death, it was revealed that a contractor identified as K.H had stopped maintenance work on the road due to a dispute with the state over unpaid dues. This was not the first accident to occur on the road\u2019s intrusive middle barrier. <br \/>  <br \/>  Lebanon\u2019s streets have been deemed unsafe by many due to the absence of lighting, decaying roads, and a complete lack of maintenance.<br \/>  <br \/>    <blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\"><p lang=\"ar\" dir=href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/0TK1aTjojY\">https:\/\/t.co\/0TK1aTjojY<\/a><\/p>\u2014 Nadine elrassi (@NadineElRassi) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/NadineElRassi\/status\/1571904920735059968?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">September 19, 2022<\/a><\/blockquote> <script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>  <br \/>  <br \/>  The renovation will be carried out by the engineering corps. of the Lebanese Army and will include the addition of new lights, signs, and other safety precautions. The road is expected to be fully renovated by Wednesday.<br \/>  <br \/>  Nadine el Rassi, George\u2019s sister, sent the family\u2019s thanks to Majida el Roumi on social media, stating that with her brother\u2019s blood the road would be transformed from \u201ca road of death to a road of crossing.\u201d    <figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped
