This time, it\u2019s an initiative launched by Kelme-Lb to create a completely separate \u201cLebanese\u201d keyboard for iOS and Android. <br \/>  <br \/>  As they proudly announced, \u201ckeyboard l lebn\u00e9ne \u1e63\u00e1r \u01b9al AppStore, w \u01b9a qb\u00e9l l android!\u201d <br \/>  <br \/>    <blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\"><p lang=\"ca\" dir=\"ltr\">Bta\u01b9erfo &#8220;tongue-twisters&#8221; lebneniye?<br>Hayde we\u1e25de ma\u01b9r\u00fafe bel \u010c\u00faf!<br><br>&#8220;q\u00fam ya qomqom q\u00fam tqamqam q\u00fam \u01b9al qiffe qarqi\u010d qam\u1e25&#8221;<\/p>\u2014 Kelme (@kelme_lb) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/kelme_lb\/status\/1572251208450199552?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">September 20, 2022<\/a><\/blockquote> <script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>  <br \/>  <br \/>  The keyboard makers put up a 2,500 euro GoFundMe goal to finance the development of the keyboard that they said is a result of a year of \u201cresearch, brainstorming and surveying.\u201d<br \/>  <br \/>  The keyboard includes such innovative letters as a T and S with a dot underneath and a C with a little hat on top. The crown jewel of the keyboard is perhaps the flattened and flipped 3 that acts as the Arabic &#8220;\u0639&#8221; sound. In their attempts to forge an Ataturkian path to save us all and enter \u201cmodernity\u201d they have failed to realize that no one wants this.<br \/>  <br \/>  We speak Arabic, a local dialect of Arabic that you can call Lebanese, but it is not a separate language. If some say bonjour and merci and a few Armaic words have slipped in there, that just shows the richness and flexibility of Arabic and our dialect. <br \/>  <br \/>  Phoenicians, it\u2019s time to come up with a new grift, because we don\u2019t think anyone is buying the idea that adding a few quirky letters to a normal Latin alphabet is worth 2,500
