Attention grown-up metalheads and young rebels: you may want to dust off your old Lebanese metal CDs and start growing out your mohawks because the oldest active Lebanese Metal bands are ready to rock again! <\/p>
Formed respectively in 2000 and 2006, Kimaera<\/a> and Nocturna<\/a> have fully cemented themselves as musical pioneers who fought off the stigma and reignited the way the middle-eastern public perceives heavy metal genres. Despite discrimination, alienation, and the absence of funding, they continued to grow, releasing a total of five albums and throwing concerts both regionally and internationally, in countries like Turkey, Ukraine, Tunisia, and the Czech Republic. <\/p> As part of Zoukak\u2019s Sidewalks Festival<\/a>, Kimaera and Nocturna will be performing live in the biggest metal event the local scene has witnessed in years, sharing the stage with two rising Lebanese bands, Borrowed Time<\/a> and Prominentia<\/a> who will be filling fans\u2019 ears with a lineup of unreleased tracks. The \u201cINVICTVS\u201d concert is set to take place on the 2nd of December at Concrete 1994<\/b> in Sin El Fil. <\/p>
