In honor of this Independence Day, we&#8217;re revisiting 17 memories of celebrating this national holiday at Lebanese schools. What are yours?<br \/>  <br \/>  <br \/>  <b> 1. Eating free man&#8217;ouche at school <\/b><br \/>  <br \/>  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/img.buzzfeed.com\/buzzfeed-static\/static\/2013-09\/enhanced\/webdr06\/26\/13\/anigif_enhanced-buzz-18480-1380217780-10.gif\"width=\"70%\"><br \/>  <br \/>  Independence Day = a saj station at school. Couple with juice for ultimate experience. <br \/>  <br \/>  <br \/>  <b> 2. Wearing the flag as a hat <\/b><br \/>  <br \/>  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/media1.giphy.com\/media\/NuWH6LTqf7xw4\/giphy.gif\"width=\"70%\"><br \/>  <br \/>  <br \/>  <b> 3. Learning the lyrics to the anthem and reciting them like a poem <\/b><br \/>  <br \/>  But it was still melodic.<br \/>  <br \/>  <br \/>  <b> 4. Learning about the meaning of each flag color <\/b><br \/>  <br \/>  White is for peace and purity, red for martyrdom, and green for our cedars. Good times.<br \/>  <br \/>  <br \/>   <b> 6. Wearing an army uniform <\/b><br \/>  <br \/>  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/media.giphy.com\/media\/RgAl2ESJFnIQ0\/giphy.gif\"width=\"70%\"><br \/>  <br \/>  <br \/>  <b> 7. Dabke-ing with your class <\/b><br \/>  <br \/>  The party of the century.<br \/>  <br \/>  <br \/>  <b> 9. Jamming to <i>raje3 yet3amar Libnan<\/i> nonstop <\/b><br \/>  <br \/>  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i.pinimg.com\/originals\/8d\/ef\/b7\/8defb744ec378a1d4c1025a5afa9a95d.gif\"width=\"70%\"><br \/>  <br \/>  <br \/>  <b>10. Lebanese flag face-painting <\/b><br \/>  <br \/>  *As soon as you walk in*<br \/>  <br \/>  Your mom: <i> \u201cFout(eh) ghassel(eh) weja\/ik hala2\u201d <\/i><br \/>  <br \/>  <br \/>  <b> 11. Watching the military parade and mimicking it with your family <\/b><br \/>  <br \/>  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/media.tenor.com\/images\/5f074c450943eb11a386cf4c34096337\/tenor.gif\"width=\"70%\"><br \/>  <br \/>  <br \/>  <b>12. Having to stand in the sun for a straight two hours during the school ceremony <\/b><br \/>  <br \/>  But that\u2019s fine cause that meant no French or Arabic class that morning.<br \/>  <br \/>  <br \/>  <b> 13. And then listening to the boring speech by the school principal that you didn\u2019t even pay attention to<\/b><br \/>  <br \/>  An amazing speech, a bunch of 12-year-olds will definitely be inspired by it.<br \/>  <br \/>  <br \/>  <b> 14. Your teacher giving you a <i>kebbeh<\/i> cooking workshop <\/b><br \/>  <br \/>  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/media.giphy.com\/media\/iDrTa54K99Cmc\/giphy.gif\"width=\"70%\"><br \/>  <br \/>  <br \/>  <b>15. Throwing Lebanese picnic brunches among classmates <\/b><br \/>  <br \/>  You get the Pepsi and the chips, I get the mini pizza and labne.<br \/>  <br \/>  <br \/>  <b>16. Wearing red, white, and green as a patriotic fashion statement <\/b><br \/>  <br \/>  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/HYQPdKw.gif\"width=\"70%\"><br \/>  <br \/>  And your mom low-key stressing about the fact that you don&#8217;t have any red clothes. <br \/>  <br \/>  <br \/>  <b>17.
