Everyone is always one or two mutual connections away, and everyone can know anything about everything with just a few texts.  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/media.tenor.com\/o4xdDkZewSAAAAAC\/small-small-worlds.gif\" width=\"70%\">  If you\u2019ve experienced the claustrophobia of living in the smallest big city, we\u2019re sure you\u2019ll relate to these 12 experiences.  <b>1. When I run into an ex while strolling through Hamra<\/b>  It\u2019s a classic, I\u2019m wearing my worst clothes, my hair is a mess, and they (for once) look amazing.  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/media.tenor.com\/PqgTNvSN8wIAAAAC\/kermit-worried.gif\" width=\"60%\">  <b>2. When I\u2019m stuck with my professor, my boss, and my ex-roommate at my uncle\u2019s bank hold up<\/b>  We have ideas for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.beirut.com\/l\/64165\" target\"_new\"=\"\">10 things you can do together<\/a>.  <b>3. When I run into my cousin at a Burger King at 12 AM after a night of heavy drinking<\/b>  It\u2019s mutually assured destruction. The family does not need to know about this.  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/media.tenor.com\/DMr5-eF6-1oAAAAC\/awkward-stare.gif\" width=\"60%\">  <b>4. When I road rage at that same cousin the next morning<\/b>  &#8220;Shu kenet 3am ta3mel mbere7 3am toshrab toul el leil w ba3den tekol Burger King w hala2 feye2 meshe hek?&#8221;  &#8220;Eh&#8221;  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/media.tenor.com\/4_Cqh-CRBssAAAAC\/arianagrande-and-what-about-it.gif\" width=\"60%\">  <b>5. When a rumor you started gets back to you, with a twist<\/b>  Utilizing telephone casse to spread rumors about your enemies is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.beirut.com\/l\/64418\" target\"_new\"=\"\">low key goated when being an evil mastermind is the vibe<\/a>.  <b>6. When everyone knows the owner<\/b>  If everyone has the owner\u2019s discount, does the owner\u2019s discount exist?  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/thumbs.gfycat.com\/AnchoredGargantuanAbyssiniancat-max-1mb.gif\" width=\"60%\">  <b>7. When you&#8217;re bopping with your doctor at the club<\/b>  I will definitely trust you with my body and brain tomorrow morning you sweaty old man trying to grind up on the nearest body.  <b>8. When you can&#8217;t talk to half the city because your friend group had that one relationship that went bad and ruined everything<\/b>  And every walk feels like a walk of shame.  <b>9. When you have to look at a man who vomited on your shoes yesterday straight in the eye at a corporate meeting<\/b>  You can talk about KPI and metrics all you want, I know what you are.  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/thumbs.gfycat.com\/AggressiveWeeklyBallpython-size_restricted.gif\" width=\"60%\">  <b>10. When a &#8220;subculture&#8221; is just 20 people that regularly hang out at Em Sherif<\/b>  Socialism is having tea at [redacted] 3 times a week. Communism is having arak at [redacted] 5 times a week.  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.livingletterhome.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/hooray-gif.gif\" width=\"60%\">  <b>11. When you need wasta to get pasta bel basta<\/b>  This one doesn\u2019t make any sense.  <b>12.
