We recommend having a chat with the wonderful owners behind this adorable bookshop!<br \/>  <br \/>  <br \/>  <b>5. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.beirut.com\/l\/62120\"target=_new\">Al Ba3sa<\/a>, Manara<\/b><br \/>  <br \/>  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.beirut.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/64808-4.png\"><br \/>  <br \/>  If you don\u2019t know the story of Al Ba3sa building, then you\u2019re in for a treat. Established back in 1964, Chico Records has one of the largest and oldest collections of vinyls that you won\u2019t find anywhere else.<br \/>  <br \/>  <br \/>  <b>7. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jubranelias.com\/the-rose-house-beirut\/\"target=_new\">The Rose House<\/a>, Ras Beirut<\/b><br \/>  <br \/>  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.beirut.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/64808-6.png\"><br \/>  <br \/>  This marvelous 19th century mansion in the heart of Beirut was used as a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.beirut.com\/l\/37598\"target=_new\">public art center back in 2014<\/a>. It is one of the loveliest sights to see in Beirut for its pop of color and iconic architectural heritage.<br \/>  <br \/>  <br \/>  <b>8. The Fayrouz mural, Gemmayze<\/b><br \/>  <br \/>  Passing by the beautiful Fayrouz mural in Gemmayze will always give us goosebumps. If you look close enough, you\u2019ll find a bunch of names and dates scribbled near the mural. <br \/>  <br \/>  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.beirut.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/64808-7.png\"><br \/>  <br \/>  <a href=\"https:\/\/civilsociety-centre.org\/paper\/ghassan-halwani-and-reclaiming-lebanons-imaginaries\"target=_new\">Ghassan Halwani<\/a>, who has created amazing short films about those who went missing during the civil war, made sure to uncover the old missing persons poster hidden below the mural and rewrite the names of those who disappeared.<br \/>  <br \/>  <br \/>  <b>9. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.beirut.com\/l\/2656\"target=_new\">Caf\u00e9 Younes<\/a>, Hamra<\/b><br \/>  <br \/>  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.beirut.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/64808-8.png\"><br \/>  <br \/>  The idea of this iconic caf\u00e9 was first conjured up by Amin Younes <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lebanontraveler.com\/en\/magazine\/cafe-younes\/\"target=_new\">back in 1935<\/a> but did not properly come into fruition until 1960 when the caf\u00e9 opened in Hamra. Serving arguably some of the best coffee in town, this gem will be cherished by old and new generations of Lebanese.<br \/>  <br \/>  <br \/>  <b>10. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.beirut.com\/l\/147\"target=_new\">Le Chef<\/a>, Gemmayze <\/b><br \/>  <br \/>  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.beirut.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/64808-9.png\"><br \/>  <br \/>  Le Chef has been making delicious homemade dishes (with teta-approved recipes) for many years. The home cuisine served at this quaint little restaurant is unlike any other, with many years of experience and love for Beirut put into every dish. <br \/>  <br \/>  <small>Photo: <a
