We\u2019re going to be unlocking some major childhood memories that will make you laugh, cry, or both.<br \/>  <br \/>  We hope this bit of nostalgia will make your day at least 99% better.<br \/>  <br \/>  <br \/>  <b>1. Whistling with this cool AF lollipop<\/b><br \/>  <br \/>  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.beirut.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/64852.png\"><br \/>  <br \/>  Honestly, we\u2019d still buy these as adults.<br \/>  <br \/>  <br \/>  <b>2. Trying to figure out how the moon was following your car around <\/b><br \/>  <br \/>  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/media.tenor.com\/DH3emvOhDJ4AAAAM\/i-dont-understand-any-of-this-gregory-dillard.gif\"width=\"70%\"><br \/>  <br \/>  And your parents\u2019 only response was \u201cma byelha2na bas b bayen hek\u201d, which confused you even more because you still didn\u2019t have a grasp of basic physics.<br \/>  <br \/>  <br \/>  <b>3. Managing to make an empty Bonjus pop VERY loudly after stepping on it<\/b><br \/>  <br \/>  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/media0.giphy.com\/media\/y3vaOXOtmMkJ2L1Apu\/giphy.gif?cid=82a1493btt3m6vs4ijk39kf2lfcl8elhohphrc50p4hr3so6&#038;rid=giphy.gif&#038;ct=v\"width=\"70%\"><br \/>  <br \/>  One thing we loved more than eating a zaatar manouche with Bonjus was finishing it so we can see who can make it pop the loudest.<br \/>  <br \/>  <br \/>  <b>4. Finding out Santa Claus is actually khalo Nabil and not the REAL Santa Claus<\/b><br \/>  <br \/>  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/thumbs.gfycat.com\/OrderlyDismalCentipede-max-1mb.gif\"width=\"70%\"><br \/>  <br \/>  You always found it suspicious how you never found them in the same room together. <br \/>  <br \/>  <br \/>  <b>5. And figuring out that Abo Kees isn\u2019t real either<\/b><br \/>  <br \/>  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/media.tenor.com\/V6i6WclynYUAAAAC\/i-just-cant-nancy-hallsen.gif\"width=\"70%\"><br \/>  <br \/>  All those threats and childhood trauma for nothing?<br \/>  <br \/>  <br \/>  <b>6. Convincing your parents that you fell asleep on the car ride back so they can carry you home<\/b><br \/>  <br \/>  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/media0.giphy.com\/media\/l0ExsEHBRaoTkllgk\/giphy.gif\"width=\"70%\"><br \/>  <br \/>  It took absolute skill not to smile by mistake when your parents go like \u201cyi ghefe\/t\u201d before picking you up and carrying you to bed. Where is our Oscar?<br \/>  <br \/>  <br \/>  <b>7. Hearing your grandparents\u2019 \u201cnehna 3a ayemna\u201d story for the first time<\/b><br \/>  <br \/>  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/media.tenor.com\/bD9vHNiR1rQAAAAd\/boom-mind-blown.gif\"width=\"70%\"><br \/>  <br \/>  We don\u2019t even remember the first time we heard the \u201cayem l harb\u201d stories but we\u2019re sure we were absolutely mind blown.<br \/>  <br \/>  <br \/>  <b>8. Zooming through the aisles in Spinneys on the trolley your mom trusted you with<\/B><br \/>  <br \/>  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/thumbs.gfycat.com\/JubilantWindyAfricangoldencat-max-1mb.gif\"width=\"70%\"><br \/>  <br \/>  Being trusted with the trolley is an honorable task. But managing to maneuver through the entire aisle without having to stop? Iconic.<br \/>  <br \/>  <br \/>  <b>9. And being allowed to buy your favorite cereal<\/b><br \/>  <br \/>  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/media.tenor.com\/qdg13PqYbxMAAAAM\/yes-baby.gif\"width=\"70%\"><br \/>  <br \/>  Monoprix\/TSC trips were the best.<br \/>  <br \/>  <br \/>  <b>10. Thinking your parents were absolute geniuses because they knew the meaning of every complicated Arabic word<\/b><br \/>  <br \/>  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/media3.giphy.com\/media\/oZbLnIvz88nNC\/giphy.gif\"width=\"70%\"><br \/>  <br \/>  Kudos to our parents for sitting through hours of teaching us 2e3rab and other complicated Arabic grammar rules we still don\u2019t understand.<br \/>  <br \/>  <br \/>  <b>11. Being amazed by the size of the giant clock in Downtown<\/b><br \/>  <br \/>  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/media.tenor.com\/4DPkcnxDPHYAAAAC\/oh-wow.gif\"width=\"70%\"><br \/>  <br \/>  And your mom had to take your picture next to it every single visit.<br \/>  <br \/>  <br \/>  <b>12. And buying animal-shaped balloons that deflated by the time you got home<\/b><br \/>  <br \/>  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/media.tenor.com\/mTN3eTcnS-oAAAAM\/you-will-be-missed-anna-faris.gif\"width=\"70%\"><br \/>  <br \/>  And if it didn\u2019t deflate, you accidentally let it go and watched it disappear into space.
