Well, set your mid-life crisis aside because we all love old people.  You\u2019ll find yourself doing these things eventually, might as well start practicing.  <b>1. They are always up to date on every mosalsal ba3d l akhbar<\/b>  Even if they miss an episode, b de2o la their neighbor to stay up to date.  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/thumbs.gfycat.com\/GiftedDevotedGar-size_restricted.gif\" width=\"70%\">  <b>2. They can read those tiny manual watches on their wrists (but need glasses for everything else)<\/b>  It\u2019s a talent.  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/media.tenor.com\/qEy3T_oenKwAAAAM\/ursula-stenzel-eyeglasses.gif\" width=\"70%\">  <b>3. They talk shit with you about l jeel l azghar menkon (aka Gen Z)<\/b>  Nothing is more rewarding than having an old person talk shit about the kids that are younger than you.  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i.gifer.com\/origin\/36\/36b7baf0e846dc161aaf4ded5312a74c.gif\" width=\"70%\">  <b>4. They know Beirut like the back of their hand<\/b>  They know every street and probably have a story about it too. Which leads us to #5.  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/y.yarn.co\/75b6a0d6-d507-41e4-a7aa-079bb38a5fad_text.gif\" width=\"70%\">  <b>5. They love telling everyone cute stories about when they were your age<\/b>  On the rare occasions that they leave out war and tragedy, they have some pretty cool stories to share.  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/media1.giphy.com\/media\/Tt9jctxaVjRny\/giphy.gif\" width=\"70%\">  <b>6. They manage to be up and ready for the day by 7 AM (and they don\u2019t even set an alarm) <\/b>  How do they do it?  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i.pinimg.com\/originals\/83\/e0\/8c\/83e08cc312c6f5496fa69e21cf554838.gif\" width=\"70%\">  <b>7. They swear that eating fresh fruits every day is the reason why they\u2019re in such good shape<\/b>  W b ghaslo l fweke b mayet shereb akid. That\u2019s the secret.  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/media.tenor.com\/ownCyFMSAj0AAAAC\/thats-my-secret-spill-the-tea.gif\" width=\"70%\">  <b>8. They\u2019re obsessed with peppermint-flavored Chiclets<\/b>  If you\u2019re wondering why old people smell like peppermint 24\/7, this is why.  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/media.tenor.com\/QrQq377KdloAAAAM\/jonah-hill-yeah.gif\" width=\"70%\">  <b>9. They hate on everything<\/b>  L balad, l wade3, l sha3b, l tor2at, l kahraba, l may, kilo l basal \u2013 they will always find something to hate, and we love it.  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/media.tenor.com\/sH-vvYbxmcgAAAAC\/whine-i-hate-everything.gif\" width=\"70%\">  <b>10. They know how to bargain a good deal (yes, even better than any Lebanese mom)<\/b>  We hope to become as good as you are at bargaining ya 3ammo &lt;3   <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/media0.giphy.com\/media\/F4Ieoc5i0r6w7CMYPn\/giphy.gif\" width=\"70%\">  <b>11. They still manage to get really old candies that you can\u2019t find in any supermarket<\/b>  No one knows where they get their hands on those candies with flavors don\u2019t last longer than 2 minutes. Perhaps they\u2019ve still held on to them for many years. Who knows?  <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/media.tenor.com\/N0Byd76EkCIAAAAM\/grandma-84years.gif\" width=\"70%\">  <b>12.
