April has been an amazing month. Not having to work on a Monday or Friday has truly been a blessing among the neverending relentlessness of everyday life. But what if every month was April? Instead of relying on an assemblage of holidays and ceremonies, let’s just have a 3 day work week, every week, forever. If you’re not convinced here are 12 reasons that apply in Lebanon. 1. Why not?<\/b> Free yourself from the panopticon in your own mind. 2. Every weekend is a long weekend<\/b> 3. We have to give away 51% of the week<\/b> For [redacted] purposes, I can’t elaborate. 4. It gives a solution to the timezone issues<\/b> The work week runs at winter time, and the weekend at summer time. 5. Religious representation matters<\/b> One day of work for each main religious branch. 6. Environmentally and Wallet Friendly<\/b> Less benzene is used, everyone wins. 7. More tourism<\/b> If everyone has two extra days off a week, then someone other the non-existent diaspora will use all these damn resorts. 8. TWT is a nice acronym<\/b> Don’t tell Elon Musk\u2026 9. This month literally proved we can do it<\/b> 10. More time to play with your cat<\/b> 11. You don’t have to talk to your boss every day<\/b> Or your annoying coworkers. 12. I’ll finally shut up about how we need more holidays<\/b> But I want 14 more!<\/a> 1<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
