list of the most dangerous countries to be a driver in, with Lebanon ranking at the top. <\/p>    <p><\/p>    <p>In addition to being a country where road safety regulations are mere suggestions, Lebanon is home to ill-maintained roads riddled with potholes, pitch black highway tunnels, and malfunctioning traffic lights. <\/p>    <p><\/p>    <div style=\"display:flex;justify-content: center;align-items: center;\">   <div class=\"lozad wp-twitter-embed\" style=\"text-align: center;width:80%;max-width: 100%;\" data-twitter-src=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/theworldindex\/status\/1745251009398493536?s=20\"><\/div>  <\/div>    <p><\/p>    <p><strong>GPS<\/strong> considered the following criteria: road quality, number of deaths, and motor vehicle crime statistics in 60 of the most car-dependent countries around the world.<\/p>    <p><\/p>    <p>First off, people rightfully commented on the validity of these rankings: <\/p>    <p><\/p>    <div style=\"display:flex;justify-content: center;align-items: center;\">   <div class=\"lozad wp-twitter-embed\" style=\"text-align: center;width:80%;max-width: 100%;\" noopener\">noticeable increase<\/a> in the rate of traffic accidents per day, as it reached 1,507 by August 2023 after having been 1,482 in August of the previous year.<\/p>    <p><\/p>    <p>Will the survey conducted by GPS be taken into consideration by the Lebanese government? Definitely not &#8211; but at least we&#8217;re number one at something.
