Its restoration and expansion took place in 2000, preserving its unique character.<\/p>    <p><\/p>    <p>This is not the first time we&#8217;ve witnessed the blatant destruction of our heritage. Standing at 700 meters above sea level, about 117 kilometers away from the capital, Mhaibib is the smallest southern village in terms of area, with a population of 1,100.<\/p>    <p><\/p>    <p>Bordering this historic village are Mais al-Jabal, Aitaroun, Ainata, Kounine, and Baraachit. It is said that the village is named Mhaibib in honor of the beloved <a href=\"https:\/\/janoubia.com\/2013\/07\/10\/\u0645\u062d\u064a\u0628\u064a\u0628-\u0627\u0644\u0648\u0627\u062f\u0639\u0629-\u0627\u0644\u0645\u0628\u0627\u0631\u0643\u0629-\u0628\u0645\u0642\u0627\u0645-\u0627\u0644\u0646\u0628\u064a-\u0628\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Benjamin<\/a>.
