We’re spilling some old tea about the former Egyptian president\u2014and we never thought we’d see the day. There’s actually something that connects the Lebanese singer Amar<\/a> to Gamal Abdel Nasser, and it’s a great grandson.<\/p>

According to Amar, she has a connection to Gamal Abdel Nasser’s grandson, Jamal Marwan. The story began back in 2008, when she was only 22 years old and had just recorded her first song.<\/p>

Amar journeyed into the music industry with the Egyptian production company “Melody”, which Abdel Nasser’s grandson owned.<\/p>

They allegedly had an affair, despite the fact that Marwan was married and had a family. The relationship progressed and eventually led to a secret marriage, but it didn\u2019t unfold the way Amar expected.<\/p>
