Exciting news! The childhood home of our beloved icon Fairuz in Zokak El Blat is set to become a museum, celebrating her life and unmatched impact on Lebanon’s culture.<\/p>

For years, many have called for this historic house to be preserved as a cultural landmark\u2014we even wrote about it back in 2022<\/a>. Now, after decades of neglect by successive governments, real progress is finally being made. The Ministry of Culture, in collaboration with the National Heritage Foundation, has committed to restoring the house from the ground up. According to Annahar\u2019s Jad Fakih<\/a>, plans include purchasing the land and transforming the space into a museum that honors Fairuz\u2019s legacy as a Lebanese icon and artistic legend.<\/p>

While the Minister of Culture has given the green light, the biggest challenge remains\u2014securing the necessary funding to bring this vision to life and establish Fairuz\u2019s home as a cultural landmark for all.<\/p>
