Whether you live in Lebanon or just visit for the season, we all dream of spending our days going from one beach to another. <\/p>    <p><\/p>    <p>Want to get the perfect tan, sip a drink by the sea, or hang out with family and friends? Sadly, your options are shrinking year after year. That means only 63% of the monitored sites meet safety standards for recreational swimming. <\/p>    <p><\/p>    <p><strong>These locations include:<\/strong><\/p>    <p><\/p>    <p>Tripoli \/ South of Sports City<\/p>    <p>Anfeh \/ Deir Al Natour<\/p>    <p>Anfeh \/ Tahet El Rih area<\/p>    <p>Heri \/ Public Beach<\/p>    <p>Selaata \/ Public Beach<\/p>    <p>Batroun \/ Al-Bahsa Beach<\/p>    <p>Batroun \/ Al Hima below NCMS-CNRS-L<\/p>    <p>Amchit \/ Public Beach<\/p>    <p>Byblos \/ Al-Bahsa Public Beach<\/p>    <p>Byblos \/ Public Beach<\/p>    <p>Fidar \/ Below Fidar Bridge<\/p>    <p>Okaibeh \/ Nahr Ibrahim Beach<\/p>    <p>Bouar \/ Public Beach<\/p>    <p>Safra \/ Public Beach<\/p>    <p>Jounieh \/ Maameltein<\/p>    <p>Damour \/ Public Beach<\/p>    <p>Jiyeh \/ Private Beach<\/p>    <p>Rmeileh \/ Public Beach<\/p>    <p>Adloun \/ Public Beach<\/p>    <p>Tyre \/ Sandy Public Beach (TCNR)<\/p>    <p>Naqoura \/ Near Fishing Port<\/p>    <p>Minyeh \/ Public Beach<\/p>    <p>Khaldeh \/ Public Beach<\/p>    <p>Al Abbassieh\/ Public Beach<\/p>    <div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>    <h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-luminous-vivid-orange-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-1b8a2a89b17df94184f238e63ef44eb5\" id=\"h-cautious-unsafe-beaches\">Cautious\/Unsafe Beaches<\/h3>    <p><\/p>    <p>Additionally, 8 stations are classified as cautious to critical unsafe, indicating moderate bacteriological contamination and susceptibility to intermittent pollution. These include:<\/p>    <p><\/p>    <p> Tripoli \/ Public Beach<\/p>    <p> Jounieh \/ Public Beach<\/p>    <p> Dbayeh \/ North Dbayeh Marina<\/p>    <p> Antelias \/ Nahr Antelias Mouth<\/p>    <p> Beirut \/ Manara<\/p>    <p> Beirut \/ Ramlet El Bayda public beach<\/p>    <div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>    <h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-important-note\">Important note<\/h3>    <p><\/p>    <p>It\u2019s also important to mention that the National Council for Scientific Research in Lebanon monitors 38 geographical points classified as marine stations. These stations stretch from Arida in the north to Naqoura in the south. They cover public beaches, rocky shores, river mouths, some private beaches, and areas near industrial power plants (for comparison purposes).<\/p>    <div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>    <h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-conclusion\">Conclusion<\/h3>    <p><\/p>    <p>Many environmentalists, scientists, and organizations have been tirelessly raising concerns about pollution and microplastics, an ongoing threat to marine life and water quality. As the years go by and our water quality continues to worsen, we\u2019ll have fewer and fewer beaches left to enjoy.
