Lahoud said she was <em>verbally<\/em> informed that an event would take place at the grotto, but clarified that the ministry never granted official permission.<\/p>    <p><\/p>    <p>While Imad Sfeir, a member of the Jeita Municipality and director of the grotto\u2019s staff, claimed that the event \u201cmet all the required standards,\u201d authorities have closed the grotto until further notice.
