The recent sighting is the first confirmed presence of wolves in Akkar in many years. Local environmentalists say it shows that the species may be slowly returning to parts of Lebanon.<\/p>    <div style=\"height:17px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>    <p>The wolves were spotted by nature cameras installed to monitor wildlife. Observers described the moment as significant for conservation, as it indicates that Lebanon\u2019s forests are still capable of supporting top predators.<\/p>    <p><\/p>   <div style=\"background-color: white;\" class=\"fb-post\" data-href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/watch\/?v=534227429757189&#038;rdid=zgDiRDVLshGvfbrl\" data-width=\"500\" data-colorscheme=\"dark\"><\/div>   <p><\/p>    <p>Back in April 2025, an Indian grey wolf was captured on camera in the heart of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/ehden.nature.reserve\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Horsh Ehden Nature Reserve<\/a><\/strong>. She stepped out of what appeared to be her den and to be heavily pregnant!
