Apart from experiencing their reality, he wanted to understand what it means to flee one&#8217;s own home because of war.<\/p>    <p><\/p>    <p>In his video, he says, \u201cI am Anthony\u2026 you definitely guessed from my Christian name that I\u2019m not displaced.\u201d <\/p>    <p><\/p>    <p>Though he could have stayed home, he chose to immerse himself in their lives. He adds, \u201cI could have crossed Nahr El Kalb and turned off the news, but I decided to live a displaced person\u2019s life for a few days and document it.\u201d His goal was to connect with people experiencing displacement and loss, to hear their stories firsthand, and to see life through their eyes rather than through headlines.<\/p>    <p><\/p>   <iframe title=\"Embedded Instagram Post\" allowtransparency=\"true\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" frameborder=\"0\" height=\"532\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DV1iutFiFqv\/embed\/\" scrolling=\"no\" style=\"background: white; max-width: 540px; width: calc(100% - 2px); border-radius: 3px; border: 1px solid rgb(219, 219, 219); box-shadow: none; display: block; margin: 12px 0px 12px !important; min-width: 326px; padding: 0px;\"><\/iframe>   <p><\/p>    <p>During that day, he met a displaced family from Kfarkela. He recalls: \u201cThis is Mukhtar. He used to own a shop in Dahye, and this was my family for the day. I became their son, my name was Mahdi, and I shared a meal with them.\u201d Despite losing their homes, and in some cases their jobs and stability, the family happily welcomed him.<\/p>    <p><\/p>    <p>Reflecting on the experience, he says, &#8220;I realized one thing: despite our differences, many people in Lebanon need to feed their sense of national belonging through the dignity of others.&#8221;<\/p>    <p><\/p>    <p>This is a reminder that in times of crisis, the simplest acts of kindness and understanding can make a huge difference.
