For a small creative space in Beirut, that timing meant stepping into uncertainty from day one. Like many independent cultural projects in the city, it had to adapt quickly, survive quietly, and keep its identity intact through some of the hardest years. Over time, it did more than survive. It grew into one of those rare places that feels both local and essential, a quiet anchor in Beirut’s creative scene.

The gallery is co-founded and run by artists Jessica Schoucair and Shogh Ian.

Schoucair is a mixed media artist whose practice — rooted in collage, stitching, and the transformation of everyday materials — became full-time in 2015 after years of exploration across different mediums.
