Historic sites like Tyre are part of humanity&#8217;s history just as much as they are part of Lebanon&#8217;s. Their protection is therefore a shared responsibility that transcends borders and conflicts.&#8221;<\/p>    <p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>    <p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The ministry also noted that Tyre was granted Enhanced Protection in 2025 under the Second Protocol to the 1954 Hague Convention for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict.
