Baie Rose

Baie Rose is the latest venture of the popular restaurant Provincial in Kaslik.

For those of you unfamiliar with Provincial, it is a pleasant dining venue situated across from the ATCL and split into three sections: a café trottoir, a tree-shaded terrace, and a cozy, dim salon. The food is reliably tasty and generous—they’ve got everything from thin-crust pizzas and copious salads to fresh sushi and inventive chicken mains—and their prices are enticingly affordable. You’ll fall in love with their welcome basket of piping-hot French rolls and a trio dip of fresh thyme in olive oil, shredded parmesan in olive oil, and balsamic vinaigrette.

Baie Rose opened just a few steps away from Provincial, and their menu offers an even wider selection of supreme eats like a colorful French lettuce salad with delicately fried goat cheese balls all lightly drizzled in cherry vinaigrette. But what’s really charming about Baie Rose is the live teppanyaki cooking station in the center of the restaurant, à la Benihana, where a vibrant young Japanese chef cooks up a storm for hungry, entranced onlookers. If you’re lucky enough to nab a seat at the station, don’t think twice: you’re in for a real treat. The chef is expert at slicing and dicing, juggling, fanning flames, and putting exceptionally delicious nosh onto your plate.

Provincial has a seaside outlet in Maameltein with seafood-inspired cuisine, and they’ve just opened a new branch in Antelias. The more, the merrier, we always say.
