Monnot Street

Rue Monnot is a street in Beirut, Lebanon. It is located east of Beirut in the Sodeco neighborhood of Achrafieh. The Monot area is named after Father Ambroise Monnot, a French Jesuit who founded Saint Joseph University (USJ) in 1875.

The main road of Monnot features a quaint , one-way cobblestone street with a variety of shops, restaurants and bars.
