Dance The Night Away At Beirut’s Hot New Discotheque

The Beirut nightlife scene has just gotten a major upgrade with the addition of the unique, the sexy, and the wonderful Discotek.

The permanent Nu-Disco venue is a retro space dedicated to your favorite 60s, 70s, and 80s dance music, kicking off 2017 in glitzy vintage lights.

Discotek has set up shop on the top floor of an industrial office building in the urban port district of Karantina, neighboring one of Beirut’s oldest beacons of night life, B018.

From the moment you step out of the elevator, the venue gives you an intense 70s retro vibe; brass lighting fixtures, low lounge chairs and tables, dark veined marble flooring, and low lighting to set the tone for intimate conversations.

Follow the floor lights to walk through the midnight blue velvet curtains that separate you from the main attraction: the golden dance floor. The high ceilings and perfectly square shaped room boasts various awesome architectural feats- from an awesome central bar, to low-cut leather lounges surrounding the dance floor.

But nothing deserves more attention than the state of the art brass lighting that can be found nowhere else in Beirut. Central to the ceiling, right on top of the masses of loyal Lebanese club goers, is a custom made urban rendition of a Disco Ball, because it wouldn’t be a Discotek without a disco ball – would it?

You can find more information here and book a table by calling 81 706 030.

Walk-ins (which the cool people over at Discotek call catwalks are also welcome.
