Beirut’s Newest Neon All-Day Bar: Electric Bing Sutt

Hearing that this new restaurant/bar has massive neon signage on the wall may induce a shudder in some, but rest assured that you’re going to love the ambiance at the Gemmayze Asian themed bar Electric Bing Sutt.

The artfully laid-back atmosphere features simple tables made from recycled materials and a majestic bar.

“Bing Sutt” means ice room in Cantonese, and it is a type of traditional cold coffee house popular in Hong Kong, and now it has landed in Beirut in the form an Asian/Middle Eastern fusion spot.

The all-day bar opens daily between 10 AM – 1:30 AM, serving coffees, drinks, and great small plates to share (or not) like the silk road lamb kebab (lamb, togarashi chili, oyster sauce, honey) and the boat house fish curry which we guarantee you’ll slurp up in a second.

Additionally, they have an extensive list of exemplary cocktails like the unmissable K-Pop Bloody Mary made with homemade Korean kimchi distilled vodka.
