These Awesome Installations Are Turning Beirut Souks Into An Urban Hangout

A series of awesome installations in the heart of Beirut is painting the town red, literally.

Red hammocks and red swings have been taking over Fakhry Bey street in Beirut Souks, turning the area into a public urban hangout.

The installations are part of a cool new project titled Urbhang.

With a new intervention added each week, Urbhang aims to create a public space for Lebanese people right in the heart of the city.

Whether you’re looking to bask in the sun, catch up with a friend, get work done, spend quality time with the kids, or take your furry friend out for a walk, Urbhang is the place to be.

Urbhang will be running until the end of August, so make sure you check it out!
