The European Union Delegation in Lebanon in collaboration with Al Madina Theatre presents Lebanon’s European Theatre Festival 2019. The festival, funded by the European Union, fosters cultural exchange between Lebanon and the European Union and is a channel promoting culture and human rights, especially freedom of expression. This 2nd festival edition offers 16 days of theatre from Belgium, Denmark, France, Ireland, Italy, Germany, Poland, Spain, Romania, and Lebanon. Plays, workshops, panels and exhibitions are part of this year’s rich festival programme from September 27 to October 12, 2019! The plays this year touch on many global issues including social diversity, identity, and migration.
