Tripoli To Remove All Political Posters On Thursday, November 7

If there’s one thing this revolution has proved, it’s that Tripoli truly is 3arous el thawra. Lebanon’s second largest and most inspiring city thus far has managed to successfully maintain momentum for 20 days straight and set an example to different Lebanese cities and areas.

With its amazing crowd and lively spirit, Tripoli is at the forefront of the Lebanese revolution, and it continues to impress day after day with its rock solid unity as a “Lebanese” city, devoid of political affiliations.

And to further demonstrate their stance against the corrupt ruling class, Tripolitans have collectively decided to remove all political posters plastered across the city on Thursday, November 7. A simple gesture that goes a long way!

It’s safe to say that Tripoli is leading the revolution at this point, proving to the country that this once-forgotten and mistreated city will no longer sidelined.

Bravo Tripoli, we hope all other cities follow suit!
