Lebanon Loses Voting Rights At UN For Failing To Pay Membership Fee

El mohem el so7a, right guys?

Welp. Another day, another jersa! Lebanon has apparently lost the right to vote as a member state at the United Nations General Assembly for failing to paid an owed amount of $459,000. The caretaker foreign minister Gebran Bassil asserted that the fees were paid, and follow-ups were made but the Lebanese state received no response from the United Nations.

Six other countries are losing this right, Central African Republic, Gambia, Lesotho, Tonga, Venezuela, and Yemen. So we’re in great company!

Charles Malek is rolling over in his grave.
