Syndicate Of Journalists Asks Raya el Hassan To Open Investigation Into Police Brutality Against Reporters
The events of last night involved a shocking amount of violence exhibited by riot police and internal security forces against both civilians and journalists.
This morning, the Syndicate of Lebanese Press Editors condemned what they described as “aggression” against reporters, media workers, and photographers covering the events and asked the Minister of Interior in the caretaker government Rayya el Hassan to open an investigation into the events, and hold individuals accountable.
