Hilarious: Loris Restaurant Urges Politicians To Pay In Advance

For the past few weeks, Lebanese protestors had been engaging in a new form of revolution: the public shaming and shunning of political figures from public spaces.

After the booing of Fuad Sanioura out of AUB, Elie El Ferzli getting shamed out of Swiss Butter, and more similar incidents, Loris Restaurant decided to stay one step ahead, urging politicians to pay their bill in advance.

Customers spotted the request written on the famous Loris blackboard, and immediately shared it on social media, where it garnered attention and laughs.

Loosely translated, the request reads: “Politicians, deputies, and ministers are kindly requested to pay in advance. Thank you.”
