68 Years Later, The Daily Star Suspends Its Print Version Due To Economic Crisis
Lebanese English language newspaper, The Daily Star has announced the suspension of its print version, as it becomes the latest victim of the country’s economic crisis.
The newspaper, which was first issued in 1952, said that it will remain operational on online platforms.
“The Daily Star apologizes to readers of its print edition and remains hopeful that it can ride out this storm until it passes, after which we hope to relaunch our paper version and return to newsstands as soon as possible.”
