1. The family oyster bar that keeps on giving.

Oyster’s Seafood Bar is a neat little hidden gem right in the port. Calamari, cuttlefish, and fries are the most delicious seaside bites.

2. Seafood sandwiches from the most authentic spot.

The best damn octopus sandwich can be found at George Maalouf Kitchen! Squid ink, shrimp, and calamari, all made with a delectable marinade at amazing prices. Grab your sandwich and walk around the beautiful Batroun Souk.

3. Lemonade, lemonade, lemonade.

Nothing says Batroun quite like a refreshing glass of ice cold freshly-made lemonade. Hilmi’s has been serving up some of the best icy drinks for decades, and makes it all using fresh and natural ingredients. They also make delicious smoothies and ice cream, all of which are made in-house using fresh produce, locally sourced goods, and no preservatives whatsoever!

Don’t forget to visit the museum and learn more about the rich history behind this family business. Die hard Hilmi fans can buy Hilmi merchandise, no joke.

4. Grab a slice (or three) at this regal spot.

Fresh ingredients, in-house made dough, and some of the best damn pizzas you’ll try! Royal’s Pizza is a fast food joint where you can grab a classic Lebanese pizza with a side of fries after a long day at the beach. It’s sure to hit the spot.

5. Seafood banquets!

Where there is sea, there is delicious seafood. At no place is this more apparent than in Batroun. Bistr’eau is a stunning port-side bistro located at L’Auberge de La Mer in Batroun. They serve a killer fresh seafood spread, along with delectable signature cocktails.

6. We can’t mention Batroun without…

Mentioning the one and only Jammal! Founded in 1981, this incredible spot serves fresh seafood with a variety of cold and hot mezze, and salads. Set in a small bay by the Batroun beach, you can dine by the beautiful sea, enjoy their outdoor terrace which almost touches the sea, and tan and swim under the sun.
