Lebanese Army Finds More Ammonium Nitrate At Beirut Port

The Lebanese Army has reportedly discovered more ammonium nitrate stored at the Beirut Port, according to local website Akhbar Al-Yawm.

Sources state that the army unit found a container at the end of the port, and inside were 4 tonnes of highly explosive ammonium nitrate. The unit immediately reported to designated authorities, and are currently working on safely removing and discarding the contents of the container.

This comes one month after the catastrophic blast that decimated Beirut on Tuesday, August 4th, when ammonium nitrate recklessly and criminally stored at the port blew up, killing more than 200 people, injuring 7000+, and leaving 300,000 families homeless.

How much more of this material is stored around the country, and do authorities know about it like they did the first time?

Lebanese people are already nerve-wracked, and do not need the extra worry of having more potential explosives casually laying around.
