We Found The Tea! It’s With The Guards Of The Presidential Palace
After Lebanese people and journalists launched a quest to find the donated Ceylon tea, we finally have some answers.
Last night, the Lebanese Presidency’s PR team released a statement thanking Sri Lanka for 1,675 KG of tea, explaining that it was safely distributed to the guards of the Presidential Palace and their families.
While the Sri Lankan tea was originally provided as a donation to the victims of the Beirut blast, it somehow made its way to the homes of the president’s loyal guards.
Meanwhile, not ONE affected family has gotten a whiff of the tea.

Hello @slinlebanon, thank you for your donation of Ceylon Tea but I think you should seek legal actions against the Lebanese government. We did not receive the tea it was distributed to the members of the presidential guard not the people affected.
