Protestors Storm Into Bank In Downtown, Demanding Their Money Back

The anger targeting the Lebanese banking system has yet to subside as the economic crisis continues to worsen.

Protestors stormed into Bank Audi in Downtown Beirut earlier today, demanding their money back, according to the National News Agency.



This comes after a set of “illegal” capital control measures that were first implemented in October 2019, and have since limited depositors’ access to their own money amid dwindling living conditions.
