Arthaus: Beirut’s Stunning New Boutique Hotel

Set to open its doors only days after the horrifying explosion that rocked Lebanon on August 4th, 2020, Arthaus Beirut was born with a setback.

Despite the reported $500,000 dollars in damages, the magical boutique hotel managed to finally open its doors to welcome guests this past October. Their spacious courtyard has quickly become a favorite for those craving an oasis from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Twenty-five glamorous rooms and suites housed in four awe-inspiring spaces in the heart of Gemmayze, this property is like no other in the country. Filled with paintings, sculptures, graffiti, and other glorious pieces that can be found in every corner, Arthaus stays true to its name.

A lush garden terrace, beautiful arches, and a mesmerizing pool are only some of the great features of this space.

For those wanting to visit without staying the night, you can book to enjoy lunch or dinner a la carte in their magnificent garden.

Back in September, the stunning space launched an exhibition entitled Beirut Year Zero that aimed at raising funds for the Lebanese Red Cross after the devastating blast of August 4. The portraits were displayed all over Gouraud Street in Gemmayze and managed to raise a good sum of money for the Red Cross.
