Lebanon To Receive 1 Million Doses Of Sputnik Vaccine Next Thursday

Post-edit: Lebanon is to receive 100,000 doses next Thursday, and 1 million over the following weeks.

Through an agreement with pharmaceutical company Pharmatrade, it was revealed that 1 million doses of the Russian vaccine Sputnik V would be brought to Lebanon, thus marking the country’s first vaccine import by a private company.

The vaccine will be offered at the price of $38 for both doses, and vaccination is set to begin on Monday, March 29.

Lebanon’s national vaccination program remains up and running, albeit slowly.
