This Amazing Flea Market Is All About Community Building

If you’ve ever taken a stroll in Mar Mikhael, you may have noticed a lively market right on Armenia Street. Garage Souk is a flea market for sustainable and financial empowerment, where you can buy, sell, or swap recycled, handmade, and thrifted items.

Garage Souk has been alive since 2019, supporting the Lebanese cause during the revolution and surviving the August 4 blast. With the rapidly worsening situation in Lebanon, they are working on building a community that can love, support, and lift each other up in such horrible circumstances.

Check out this video for some insight on this wonderful initiative and enjoy the lively Garage Souk experience!

The flea market is open weekly, Friday through Sunday. Whether you’re dropping by to cop some thrifted tees or sell your handmade jewellery, Garage Souk is going to be your second home. There’s no other way to support local than to create and engage in a space like this!
