Dispute Over Fuel In Tripoli Leaves 2 Dead

The northern city of Tripoli has once again witnessed a violent exchange in the Al-Badawi area where two men, identified only as HJ and AA, were shot and killed.

The young men were reportedly selling fuel to citizens in Al-Badawi, when a fight broke out and a weapon was fired. After the horrifying clash, they were later on transferred by paramedics to the Islamic Hospital in Tripoli but sadly did not make it.

The ongoing crisis has left more than 10 people dead in the past year due to such clashes between citizens. The silence of the ruling political class only points to their attempts to normalize these horrific events, showing no sympathy for their desperate citizens.
