Youmna Makary is breathing new life into the world of traditional Lebanese cuisine.
Spending childhood at her hometown in Zgharta, Youmna learned the secret recipes of her skillful grandmother who was famous for her “Kibbeh Zghertewiyeh” and decided to pass on the food tradition from generation to generation through an independently owned passion project: Youmna’s Kibbeh.
At her home kitchen, Kibbeh is prepared in all its forms and delivered to your table with a modern twist: the menu offers exquisite trays, bites, and frozen options available in large and medium quantities, such as, Kibbeh Zghertewiyeh (with fat, beef and pine nuts, or butter), Kibbeh With Labneh, Kibbeh with Shanklish, Fish Kibbeh with Red Peppers and Kibbeh with Hummus.
Gluten-free options are also available including Pumpkin Kibbeh, Quinoa Kibbeh, and “Telblé ” raw Kebbeh – a new star item rich in protein!
After making it to Abu Dhabi and Kuwait, Youmna’s products travelled all the way to Qatar last October and are now available at Dekanet Beirut to give Lebanese expats a taste of home!
