Breaking: Two Suspected Cases Of Monkeypox In Lebanon

Just moments ago, general physician Dr. Mohammad Fahmy Kharroub revealed to Al Jadeed that a second suspected case of the rare viral infection Monkeypox has been found in Lebanon.

Dr. Abdul Rahman Bizri spoke about the first suspected case in a conversation with MTV. It is important to note that these are suspected cases that have yet to be confirmed. It is also important to note that the disease is normally not fatal.

Reports of this strange and rare viral infection have been popping up all over Europe, US, Canada, and Australia throughout the month of May. While the virus is common in some parts of Central and West Africa, there are now ten confirmed cases in the UK so health authorities are keeping an eye on its spread. Symptoms include high fever, headache, muscle aches, and exhaustion, and transmission occurs when a person comes into contact with an animal or human contaminated with the virus.
