Public Buses Donated From France Arrive In Lebanon

The first batch of 50 public buses landed in Beirut hours ago from France in a bid to upgrade the transport system’s existing vehicles that have become extremely old and limited in number.

In an effort to improve Lebanon’s decaying public transport system, an agreement between the now caretaker Minister of Public Works and Transport Ali Hamieh and the French Minister of Transport stipulated the donation of these buses to Lebanon.

This donation comes in light of skyrocketing fuel prices, and an even more dire need for a reliable transportation network.

It was also presumed that Spain would sign a deal to finance the revival of the railway system, but there have yet to be any details on that.
