Allo, Beirut? This Event Will Walk You Through Our City’s History

Are you ready for a fun exhibition that will walk you through the history of our beloved Beirut?

“Allo, Beirut?” is an exhibition curated by Delphine Darmency Abi Rached, a Lebanese-French project director with a love for her Lebanese heritage. The exhibition aims to bring back traces of Beirut’s happier times, from the sixties until today.

This project will breathe life into the country’s forgotten archives, having curated photographs, stories, and newspaper clippings which will be put on display at the exhibition. In preparation for this wonderful event, the NGO Clown Me In has been traveling through Beirut’s neighborhoods distributing a newspaper that appears to have been published in the sixties.

Wit 10 artists, 7 journalists, 6 collectors, 9 creatives, and 20 passionate team members, the opening will take place at Beit Beirut in Sodeco on September 15th from 6pm until 10pm and it is open to the public. Don’t miss out!
