There’s A Page For Abandoned Chairs In Beirut And We Love It

We’re sure that you’ve heard of the Instagram page that was posting about all the quirky Lebanese vans gracing the streets of Lebanon, and we’ve already chosen our favorite ones from that account here.

However, we discovered a new account that is dedicated to giving abandoned chairs around Beirut their time to shine. Chairs of Beirut, like Lebanese vans, uploads submissions from people who spot some interesting (and lonely) looking chairs in Beirut.

The page itself is, dare we say, quite artistic and moving. Who did that chair belong to? Why did it end up there? How many people have sat in it? What is its story? So many questions left unanswered.

Whoever created the page, thanks for triggering these existential thoughts in us. Please keep posting random pictures of chairs in Beirut.

So, if you spotted an interesting looking chair in our lovely city, send your submission to Chairs of Beirut.

You know what’s one chair you’ll NEVER find on this page? The one belonging to our parliament speaker.
